What are your expectations for the future of the organic sector?
The ecological certification is a guarantee of product quality, but it also controls its production process, ensuring the consumer a verified and controlled value chain where the information is true to the quality standards set out on the label.
Tell us more specifically what you do, and what makes it so special
At Salinas del Aleman – Biomaris, we are dedicated to the extraction of artisanal sea salt. We believe in an ecological and natural diet, through the purity, care and preparation of each of our products. From 1954 until today we continue to strive to offer our customers 100% natural Virgin Sea Salt, of extraordinary purity and exquisite flavor, but without forgetting our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment that surrounds us.
Describe a typical day at your job
Our daily work focuses on organizing the tasks of action at the collection site. Classifying the product that needs to be stored or packaged and that meets our highest quality standards. The administration and sales team is in charge of managing orders and sending information to customers about new products, attendance at fairs, participation in contests. We also give our visitors the opportunity to learn about our production process with guided tours.
