Leading Nordic trade shows open visitor registration for 2021
Preparations for Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair 2021 are now well underway, as the Nordic region’s biggest trade shows for natural and organic open visitor registration for 2021.
An industry survey conducted by Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair proves that the industry is set to attend. The results are extremely positive and show that over 90% of people questioned from Sweden, Denmark and internationally, have said they will attend or hope to attend the event on the 17-18 November at MalmöMässan, Sweden.
“We look forward to finally meeting again (in a corona safe environment) and share our industry’s innovations and development. Eco Life Scandinavia is the natural platform for the Nordic self-care industry.”
Mats Nilsson, Managing Director, Svensk Egenvård.
Providing a safe environment to do business is of top priority and organisers, Diversified Communications, will constantly review and adapt to any necessary requirements. Meanwhile, MalmöMässan has already invested heavily in a wide range of solutions from increased hygiene procedures, to new technology ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our visitors and exhibitors this coming November.
Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair showcase the best choice of organic and clean label products from around the world – including VMS, superfoods, personal care, beauty, natural living, and certified organic food and drink – the highly reputable co-located events for buyers and industry professionals.
And when it comes to buying organic, and understanding the importance of natural, sustainable lifestyles, Nordic consumers lead the way:
The market for natural, organic skin and beauty products grew by 13.3% in 2020 and is on course to continue growing by 15%-20% per year by 2025, according to NOC Sweden.
Sales of organic food and drink in Swedish retail grew by 340 million SEK during 2020. This equates to an increase of 3.5%, shows new statistics from Nielsen.
New statistics from Danmarks Statistik shows retail sales of organic food and drink rose by 14%, an increase of 16 billion DKK in 2020.
Helping to drive this footfall, Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair provide perfectly timed opportunities for visiting buyers, retailers, wholesalers and distributors to see and sample the next-wave of eco-living, natural health and organic food and drink concepts to put in their stores.
Melina Viking, event manager, comments: “We’re thrilled to bring Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair to MalmöMässan in November, during what has been a very uncertain time. We look forward to this wonderful opportunity to gather industry and likeminded professionals together and meet face to face.
“We have new exhibitors, bigger feature areas and exciting new regions including some of the most innovative manufacturers and suppliers working in the natural and organic market today. Many won’t be appearing at any other show in Europe – so we’re confident in saying that every new product innovation that our visitors need to know about will be at the show!”
What’s new for 2021?
Thanks to a rise in product demand, the Vegan area will be offering the biggest and most varied show yet, with big name brands set to join us for the first time. Buyers will find more local Swedish producers than ever before, along with more sustainable products, private label and free from products, proving this year’s show is set to be the best yet.
Visitors can sample the latest products (some launching for the first time at the show) from some of the most exciting ‘up-and coming’ companies in the Start-Up Zone and Innovation from Scandinavia – allowing visitors to stay ahead of the curve with newness and trends.
Of course, the event is not only reserved for new products. The show’s three theatres (Natural Theatre, Organic Theatre and the Natural Beauty Theatre) will feature a wealth of inspiring expertise, case studies and debates on pertinent issues and challenges facing the industry today, whilst providing ideas and opportunities for the future ahead.
Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair will return to Malmö, Sweden, on Wednesday and Thursday 17-18 November 2021. For more information and to register for a free trade ticket, please visit www.ecolifeshow.com or www.nordicorganicfoodfair.com.
