Eco Life Scandinavia re-brands to Eco Living Scandinavia

Event organisers, Diversified Communications, have announced that Eco Life Scandinavia – the essential trade event for sustainable and organic products – will rebrand to Eco Living Scandinavia for its 10-year anniversary.

Taking place at MalmöMässan on 16-17 November, Eco Living Scandinavia will continue to co-locate with the Nordic Organic Food Fair and will incorporate four refreshed feature areas: Plant Based Show, Natural Beauty Show, Natural Health Show and the Free From Trail. The announcement coincides with the opening of visitor registration, encouraging leading health stores, pharmacy chains, wholesalers, distributors, importers, exporters, retailers and supermarkets across Scandinavia to book their free ticket in advance.

Since its launch (as Natural Products Scandinavia) in 2012, the trade show has established itself as one of the most important trade events in the region, with support from leading retailers such as Dansk Supermarked, Life Europe, Lidl, ICA Sverige AB and Hälsokraft. The show has also had the backing of policy makers, such as Danish Minister Rasmus Prehn, and associations like Organic Denmark, Organic Sweden, Pro Luomu, IFOAM, NATRUE, and Region Skåne.

The name change and new logo designs have come as a result of feedback from the industry that a clear show name would further strengthen the connection between exhibiting companies and trade buyers looking for sustainable and organic products.

Event Director Melina Viking says: “As the Nordic region’s leading trade event for organic food, natural health, beauty and eco living, it’s vital to evolve alongside the industries we serve. Our new branding – from the show name and logo change to a complete website redesign – will help to visually bring together the co-located shows (and sub areas) into an all-encompassing event that promotes sustainability.

“For 10 years, the event has evolved so much and has facilitated important business deals for brands across the world – whilst also promoting the importance of organic and sustainability. I’m looking forward to welcoming the industry once again to their dedicated event.”

New exhibitors and feature areas

With preparations now underway, the exhibitor line-up is already filled with an eclectic list of companies helping to shape the future of natural and organic over the next twelve months. So, what can visitors expect from the show’s refreshed edition?

The Plant Based Show (previously, Vegan Scandinavia) will feature the most innovative plant-based food and drink brands – including meat alternatives, dairy-free cheeses, plant-based milks and vegan desserts. Previous exhibitors have included leading brands like Oatly, Sproud and Beyond Meat, and companies confirmed for this year include Klepper & Klepper, Jay & Joy, Casheury, Fermentful, Vegini and Vegan Delights.

The Natural Beauty Show – encompassing natural, organic, vegan and sustainable skincare, makeup and personal care – continues to be a popular area and strong growth category in Scandinavia. Exhibitors confirmed so far include: Urtekram, Ester by Sweden, Selenacare, Aperion and KostKamm. This area will also incorporate a new ‘Beauty Bar’ for important roundtable discussions and networking for brands and influencers.

The Natural Health Show is a section dedicated to natural food supplements, vitamins, herbal medicine, functional foods, sports nutrition, eco household and functional health drinks. Confirmed exhibitors include Nordic Kings, Natur Drogeriet, Cidrani, NaturesPlus, Valentis and SpirulinaNord.

Lastly, the new Free From Trail will showcase exhibitors specialising in ‘free from’ products, an important and growing category in the food and drink market. These exhibitors will be marked on the show floorplan in a special trail – to ensure visitors can locate them around the hall.

As well as the sub shows – Nordic Organic Food Fair remains the largest certified organic food and drink trade event in the Nordic region. A few of the confirmed exhibitors so far include Mossagården, Organic Allience (ProNatura), Natessen, English Teashop, The Happy Guts Company, and Kaja Organic. This dedicated event helps showcase the latest organic products from around the world, as well as providing inspiring talks from thought leaders and policy makers on topics around organic food processes.

Registration now open

Eco Living Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair will return to MalmöMässan on the 16- 17 November 2022. To register for free trade ticket, please visit HERE.
