The fourth edition of Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia will have the presence of Latin America, Poland, Belgium, Italy, France, the United States, Austria, Greece and Korea, with the purpose of consolidating itself as the reference professional event for the organic sector on an international level. The event will take place on June 7 and 8 at IFEMA MADRID , which will become the largest showcase of the BIO sector in the Iberian Peninsula. Brands, companies and producers will exhibit to high-level international buyers the latest developments in organic food and beverages, sustainability and natural health and well-being.
The last edition of Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia was the most international to date, with 30% of the total exhibitors from outside Spain. Altogether, 51 countries from all over the world were represented last year, making the fair a true global showcase. For the 2023 edition, more than 60% of the exhibition space is already reserved , with the confirmed presence of large international pavilions. In addition, Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia is actively working on its Hosted Buyers program, which will have 300 high-level international buyers invited.
International pavilions
In 2023, Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia will once again have world-class pavilions, such as the one in the United States . Latin America, where the organic sector is strengthened year after year, will also be present at the event through the Inter-American Commission on Organic Agriculture (CIAO) and will have the participation of countries such as Argentina , Ecuador , Peru , Chile and Brazil .
According to the latest data on organic production , published by FiBL in February 2022, Latin America has the third largest organic agricultural area in the world, since with 9.9 million hectares , it is behind Europe and Oceania in the ranking. Especially noteworthy are countries such as Argentina and Uruguay, which have the second and third largest ecological area in the world (4.5 million hectares and 2.7 million hectares, respectively).
Strong European presence
European countries such as Austria will also have their stands at IFEMA on June 7 and 8. Belgium is another of the countries that renews its pavilion, and it does so with more exhibitors than in past editions. Specifically, it expands 60% of the exhibition space for Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia 2023.
In addition to Austria and Belgium, the rest of Europe will also be strongly represented. Brands from Germany , Denmark , Greece , France , Italy , the Netherlands , Portugal , Poland and the United Kingdom will show their latest innovations to the Spanish market. Companies such as Yogi Tea, Linwoods, Nutland, Horizon Natuurvoeding BV, Ghee Easy, FIP Organic, Apeiron Natural Care and All Organic Treasures, among others, will also be present.
Production of national origin
For its part, Spain will reflect its position as an organic producer, and once again visitors will find at Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia the pavilions of Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Catalonia, Extremadura, Galicia, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia , Navarra and the Valencian Community.
Andalusia will also be present again. It will be supported by the Spanish professional association of ecological production Ecovalia , main sponsor of the event, which in turn will have an independent pavilion.
Likewise, the public entity for the promotion and development of organic farming in Spain, Intereco , wants to regroup all its regions by increasing presence, regions and space.
The national companies Alternativa3, Alternatur, Anecoop, bioBardales, Biocibus, Biocop, Biogran, Cantero de Letur, Casa Grande de Xanceda, Chocolates Torras, Delicatalia, Herbes del Molí, Hispania Organic Company, IDEAS Comercio Justo, Jabones Beltrán, Natruly, Natureco, Okami Bio, Orballo, Roca Defisan and Wassy Himalaya SL, among others, have already confirmed their attendance at Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia 2023.
