Over the past year online searches for ‘organic food near me’ have skyrocketed by 850% reports waste and recycling management company BusinessWaste.co.uk.
To mark Organic September, the company analyzed a year’s worth of organic-related Google trends, finding that ‘attitudes to quality food are changing’.
Data also showed that searches for ‘organic food delivered’ rose by 350% over the same period.
On a global scale, the research revealed that the most significant increase in interest in organic food over the same period took place in Jamaica, UAE, Australia, Singapore and the Philippines.
