  • Clearspring has introduced three new Organic Fruit Purée variants: Apple Banana Strawberry, Apple Mango Coconut and Pear Apple Peach. They are made with no added sugar, ascorbic acid, concentrates, sweeteners, preservatives, artificial colours or flavours.
  • Reduced sugar jam brand Fearne & Rosie has announced a full range refresh – designed to dial up the ‘more fruit less sugar’ messaging and communicate its natural taste credentials –and a listing in Waitrose of its new family size 300g jars.
  • Morrisons shoppers nationwide can now find RAMONA’S Heavenly Houmous Original and Heavenly Houmous Jalapeno in 500g tubs in the dip aisle, marking the first and only branded Houmous to hit the retailer’s shelves.
  • Made for Drink’s flagship potato crisp variety, English Truffle, is making its debut in Waitrose stores this October.
  • Sustainable beauty brand UpCircle saw its recent crowd-funding campaign hit 100% of its targets with 20 days to go, finally raising £451,047 (150% funded) through 1,427 investors.
  • Ingestible beauty and wellness brand WelleCo, founded in 2014 by Elle Macpherson, has launched The Immune Elixir: a blend of plant-based ingredients that supports a healthy immune system and relieves common cold symptoms.
  • Californian plant-based brand Califia Farms is adding to its cold brew range with the launch of a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, which contains added calcium and vitamin D, and is available in ASDA and Tesco.
    Eco-friendly cleaning brand Clean Living International has expanded its range with the launch of the new Eco-Friendly Multi Cleaning Mitt, banishing the need for harmful polishes.
  • Mash Direct has secured a triple listing with Tesco to stock three of its products. Chilli Baby Bakes, Beer Battered Chips and Beer Battered Onion Rings are available in 61 stores across England and Wales.
  • New collaborative sandwich concept Super Happy has launched at Ducie Street Warehouse, Manchester, to offer sandwiches that are ‘carefully considered, from the bread up’. Super Happy works closely with regenerative farming company Wildfarmed.
  • Vegan street food brand Biff’s has launched into Sainsbury’s as part of the supermarket’s Future Brands incubator programme and updated its instructions to include air-fryer cooking instructions to the Biff’s Crispy Fried Jackfruit Burgers and Wingz.
  • The team behind the Free From Skincare Awards has announced the opening of the Free From Gift Awards, a ‘spin off’ award which will run from September to November, and which is dedicated to gift boxes, beauty sets and other skincare collections.
  • Virtue Clean Energy’s Orange SKU has launched into Ocado and Amazon as well as across distributors and wholesalers including Epicurium, AF Blakemore, Diverse Fine Food, Appleby Westward, DDC and Delicious Ideas.
  • Pukka Herbs has launched a new limited edition winter blend called Winter Warmer which blends rooibos and lemon balm leaf with orange peel, ginger, cinnamon, black peppercorn, star anise and clove to support mood, reduce stress and aid digestion.
  • Whole Earth is championing its new Drizzler product in a major new national advertising campaign, with the strapline, ‘peanut butter but not as you know it’. The campaign is being supported by a social advertising and influencer campaign.
  • Simply Roasted ‘Better For You’ crisps are now available in Waitrose (Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar, Mature Cheddar & Red Onion and Black Truffle in impulse format; Sea Salt, Mature Cheddar & Red Onion and Black Truffle in sharer format) and Ocado (all four in sharer format).
  • Geeta’s has invested £1million in its first ever national TV campaign which premiered on 1st October and runs for a month. The ad, which showcases Geeta’s chutneys as part of its Real Flavour of India campaign, will run on channels including ITV, Channel 4.
  • Innocent drinks new Super Kids smoothie Blueberry Whizz is designed to help more children get essential fruit and nutrients into their diet. The Good Choice accredited smoothie is made from 100% crushed fruit and has been fortified with fibre, iron and vitamin D.
