The latest innovations from dairy-free brand Cocos Organic are Organic Coconut Milk Yog Tubes – a ‘UK first’ – and Organic Light Natural Organic Coconut Milk Yoghurt Alternative. The Strawberry & Banana Organic Milk Yog Tubes come in a box of five and are designed for kids from six months. Made from organic coconut milk, real strawberry puree and natural banana flavourings, they are fortified with live bacteria, including Bifidobacterium BB-12, which is fermented with the coconut milk overnight to create a tangy, live coconut yoghurt alternative. The Organic Light Natural Organic Coconut Milk Yoghurt Alternative is made with 98% organic coconut milk and also fortified with live bacteria strains. It contains less than 10% fat and has 115 calories per 100g. Cocos Organic products are free from dairy, lactose, gluten and soya. The business is Vegan Society- and Soil Association-approved.
Nourish London’s Ceramide Moisture Boost Essence is a lightweight formula designed to deliver a layer of moisture after cleansing and toning to soften and prepare the skin for its daily skincare routine. The formulation includes a blend of hyaluronic acid, trehalose that mimics the skin’s natural moisturizing factor, vege ceramides, skin-repairing probiotic minerals and supercharged kale sprout extract. It also includes vanilla, benzoin and willow bark – a natural exfoliant that balances sebum levels and decongests pores. New from vegan health and wellbeing brand Nutrigums are Rescue Bears, naturally flavoured pineapple gummies designed to support the nervous system and release muscle tension to promote relaxation, they are packed with carefully researched nutrients from B2, B3, B6 and B12 as well as zinc and amino acids. Suitable for both vegans and vegetarians, with a blend of fruit-based pectin, the gummies also include herbs such as lemon balm, chamomile and green tea which boost memory and concentration while aiding muscle relaxation. “Rescue Bears was designed to encapsulate a wide range of vitamins and ingredients that hold stress relieving properties as well as support cognitive function,” explains Shona Wilkinson, consultant nutritionist for the brand. “Produced in our specialist fruit fibre format, there are also no added sugars, contributing to better health – unlike many other gummies on the market.”
Health & Her has launched its first omega supplement offering a source of omega-3, 6, 7 and 9 in easy to swallow, vegan soft gel capsules designed for use by women during the menopause and beyond. Health and Her Omega+ is a blend of evening primrose, sea buckthorn, olive, linseed and algal oils, with each daily dose containing 250mg DHA and EPA.
