SPAR Mogán , a partner of Dutch multinational supermarket chain Spar, has opened a second store on Gran Canaria under its Spar Natural brand.
The first Spar Natural store opened in the town of Arguineguín in early January 2017. The new store is built around a health store concept that specializes in organic foods as well as vegan, vegetarian, gluten, dairy and wheat free products. The food ranges are complemented by personal care products, supplements and remedies.
The Arguineguín store has a selling area of 240 sq m, and features a consultation area where customers can book sessions with professional nutritionists, physiotherapists and other practitioners of CAM disciplines.
The second store, slightly larger at 300 sq m, carries 6,000 products and includes a café selling 100% organic food and drink.
Spar says the new store concept has been developed in response to growing consumer interest in natural and organic lifestyle choices.
