London-based health and well-being retailer Planet Organic is set to open a new store in the north-west of the city later in the summer.
The development comes just months after specialist consumer brands investor Inverleith LLP announced that it taken a majority stake in the pioneer organic retail chain, signalling its intention to double the current store count of seven outlets around the capital.
The studio will form part of the Queens Studios development, a renovated Victorian building on Salusbury Road at the top end of the Queens Park village, and next to the local primary school.
The store will have 2300 square feet of retail space with Planet Organic’s signature mix of food to go, groceries and health and bodycare. It will be about the same size as the retailer’s successful Islington store.
With a strong family orientated community, the retailer sees Queens Park as an ideal location for a Planet Organic store.
Work on the site is is reported to be progressing smoothly and the new store is expected to open in mid-August.
