Madrid, May 2023.- Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia 2023 is preparing to open its doors at IFEMA MADRID on June 7 and 8 . Just a few weeks before the start of the reference fair in the organic sector, the organization publishes an attractive program with which to delve into the main innovations and trends in the sector at the hands of the most distinguished personalities in the organic industry.
The program will start on Wednesday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. with a session focused on the presence of organic products in Spanish shops by the Association of Spanish Supermarket Chains. Next, Diego Granado Cumbres , Secretary General of Ecovalia , will put on the table the key role of consumption and promotion in the development of the ecological sector in Spain.
Executives from Veritas, Herbolario Navarro, Naturitas, Ecotone South Europe, Midsona Iberia and Biocop will analyze and share opinions on the situation of the organic market at the round table organized by Bio Eco Actual.
There will also be a place to talk about priority markets and export opportunities, hand in hand with FIAB, vegan market trends from a global and local level, and ecological catering as a differentiating element and promoter of consumption.
Six lucky brands will have the opportunity to present their products to the most important buyers of the organic and natural industry in the Elevator pitch , with Veritas and Herbolario Navarro .
Global and international markets will focus the topics of the second day, which will include sessions given by the Inter-American Commission on Organic Agriculture – CIAO. SEAE will give a presentation on the process of creating the Ecoterritory of the Serra de Tramuntana, in Mallorca. For their part, B Lab and Biogran will explain the positive impact of being BCorp .
Greenwashing , the avalanche of green claims, eco-friendly seals and ecological real guarantees will also be in focus . In this sense, the Deputy Director of IFOAM Organics Europe , Joanna Wierzbicka , will give a session in English on the EU Sustainable Food Systems Law and its impact on the organic sector, at 11:00.
Sessions given by #alimentosdespaña / Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and SOW (Spanish Organic Wines) will complete the seminar program , which is now available on the Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia website.
A global showcase
The fourth edition of Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia will become the largest showcase for the organic sector, with national pavilions and world-class pavilions and the presence of national and international exhibitors.
