Visitor registration has opened for the inaugural Organic Food Iberia and Eco Living Iberia events (IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid, Spain, on 6-7 June).
This major new international trade event will showcase the best choice of organic food and drink, as well as eco living and beauty products, from across the Iberian Peninsula, the Mediterranean region and around the world.
Co-organised by Diversified Communications and IFEMA, and benefiting from strong government and industry support, the event is set to bring thousands of specialist organic retailers, supermarket buyers, distributors, wholesalers, importers and exporters together to do business with 500 exhibiting companies.
Andalucía, Cataluña and Murcia – among Spain’s biggest organic producing regions, and the Valencian Community (its fastest growing) are all now confirmed to host dedicated pavilions. As are: La Rioja, the Basque Country, Galicia, and Madrid. Together, these vibrant regional pavilions will showcase the richly-diverse organic food, drink, ingredients and wine that has made Spain such a giant of gastronomy and a (top ten) leader in the world’s organic market.
Spanish exhibitors also include Intereco,Anecoop, Biogran, Soria Natural, Bruñó, Hispania Organics, Dulcesol, Ekotrebol, Can Valls, Spanish Organic Wines (Bodegas Pinuaga), Bodegas Robles, Delicious & Sons, DeliCatalia, and DO Jumilla. Plus Alkanatur, Cal Margarit, Kimera, Omella, Soria Natural, Ibiza y Formentera Agua, and Omamori (in Eco Living Iberia).

José Miguel Herrero Velasco, director general of the food industry at Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, welcomes the show’s launch and highlights its role in helping to promote the consumption of organic. At Organic Food Iberia, Spanish companies will be promoting sustainability and efficiency and informing visitors about their eco-friendly production systems. Thanks to the values, quality and reputation of the “Alimentos de España” brand, and in accordance with the objectives of 2030’s Agenda, we want to position Spain as a beacon for the benefits of ecological production and in the fight against food waste, and this international trade show will be an excellent gateway between Spain and the rest of the world.”
Portugal Foods (supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development in Portugal) will also enjoy a big presence at the show, being joined by around 50 Portuguese suppliers/producers.

There’s also been strong exhibitor uptake from outside Spain and Portugal, with companies from The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Greece, Hungary, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey, Korea, and the UK all represented; including Carrefour Bio, Kinetic Natural Products Distributors, Rude Health, Frenchtop, Pronatura, Topas Gmbh, Sonnentor Krauterhadels, and Yogi tea, among others.
The event will feature three dedicated theatres (the Organic Theatre, Kitchen Theatre, and Eco Living & Beauty Theatre), an Organic Wine Zone, the Innovation Zone – featuring the next wave of bestselling products, regional and international pavilions, and the Eco & Organic Awards Iberia.
