DolCas Tenshi (#F200)
DolCas Tenshi Bioceuticals (DTB) will be showcasing Curcugen, the newest member to join its growing portfolio of nutraceuticals. Curcugen, a name inspired by the formulation’s ‘next-GENeration’ features, is a 100% natural, water-dispersible curcumin ingredient debuting at this year’s Vitafoods.
Curcugen’s patent-pending composition base is a novel-source turmeric oleoresin, rather than the 95% standardized curcuminoid material common in the supplement industry. The SELF D™ platform technology optimizes the oleoresin base so that its benefits can be fully realized. Further, it avoids the need to complement the curcuminoids with other, non-turmeric ingredients, or reconstitute it with displaced turmeric ingredients.
The company is also targeting the male sexual health market with its debut nutraceutical formula, marketed under the name Fortiquin. This five-ingredient, patent-pending blend of herbal extracts and nutrients has been carefully designed to support sexual stamina and overall wellbeing in healthy men experiencing problems with sexual performance.

Netherlands-based Innexus Nutraceuticals will be present at the booth of its new distributor, IMCD, where it will showcase OptiPEA, the natural pain relief solution.

It is palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), a naturally occurring bioactive lipid which has consistently been shown to deliver positive results without negative side effects.
OptiPEA is produced sustainably from RSPO-certified palmitic acid and manufactured entirely in Europe using a patented GMP production process. It is an excellent alternative to Cannabidiol (CBD), which has recently been classified by the EU as a ‘novel food’, creating uncertainty around its status in the supplements sector. In addition, it has a consistent quality and its origin is completely, transparent and sustainable.

Ayanda (#F14)
Sirio’s Ayanda will be launching its probiotic softgel at Vitafoods Europe. The patent-pending technology is said to be the first ever to enable a softgel capsule to contain both probiotic bacteria and Omega 3 oil. The breakthrough – developed in collaboration with innovation and manufacturing group CDiMO, adds to the company’s existing probiotic capabilities in hard capsules, tablets and powdersticks. This true nutraceutical innovation will be unveiled on the company’s stand during a presentation on May 8th at 1pm.
Until now, softgel capsules were required to be manufactured at high temperatures and humidity, which leads to the destruction of probiotics, meaning softgel probiotic formulations were unviable. Ayanda however, has spent 10-years perfecting its new approach using a gentle method, whereby the survival rate of probiotics is vastly increased. The innovation enables the manufacture of softgel capsules comprising uncoated probiotic bacteria alongside at least one oil – for example, fish oil with DHA and EPA, and vitamins in one single softgel.
