A survey conducted by Diversified Communications, the organizer of the Nordic Organic Food Fair (NOFF) and its sister show Eco Life Scandinavia (ELS), reveals that 90% of people questioned in Sweden, Denmark and internationally plan to attend the events when they return to MalmöMässan, 17-18 November.

The results come as a welcome indication of confidence from the sector. Mats Nilsson, managing director, Svensk Egenvård, comments on the return to live events: “We look forward to finally meeting again (in a corona safe environment) and share our industry’s innovations and development. Eco Life Scandinavia is the natural platform for the Nordic self-care industry.”

Melina Viking, event manager for NOFF and ELS, speaks to NPN as registration for the show opens: “We’re thrilled to bring Eco Life Scandinavia and the Nordic Organic Food Fair to MalmöMässan in November, during what has been a very uncertain time. We look forward to this wonderful opportunity to gather industry and likeminded professionals together and meet face to face.

“We have new exhibitors, bigger feature areas and exciting new regions including some of the most innovative manufacturers and suppliers working in the natural and organic market today. Many won’t be appearing at any other show in Europe – so we’re confident in saying that every new product innovation that our visitors need to know about will be at the show!“

New for 2021, the Vegan area of the show floor will be the largest and most varied yet, with several major brands in the vegan space exhibiting for the first time. Buyers can expect to find an increased presence of local Swedish producers, along with more sustainable, private label and free-from products than in previous years.

In the Start-up Zone, visitors will be offered the chance to sample the latest products from up-and-coming organic brands, while in the Innovation from Scandinavia section buyers can ‘stay ahead of the curve with newness and trends’. Three theatres will play host to ‘a wealth of inspiring expertise, case studies and debates on pertinent issues and challenges facing the industry today’ across food, health, beauty and eco living.

For the organizers, the safety of exhibitors, visitors and staff at the two leading Nordic trade shows remains a ‘top priority’; plans will be under constant review and adjustments will be made where necessary. The venue, too, has ‘invested heavily in a wide range of solutions, from increased hygiene procedures to, new technology’ in efforts to ensure the space remains COVID-safe.

Registration is now open. Head to www.ecolifeshow.com and www.nordicorganicfoodfair.com for a free trade ticket.
