The British Homeopathic Association (BHA) is taking the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) to court over a recent decision to ban public funding of homeopathy and other alternative medicines.
A leading European science federation that advises EU institutions is calling for a ban on the use of homeopathic medicines and a tightening up of on the marketing and advertising of homeopathic products.
India hosted the World Integrated Medicine Forum on Regulation of Homeopathic Medicine earlier this month.
The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) says that over-the-counter homeopathic medicines on sale in America must in future state on pack that ‘there is no scientific evidence the product works’.
