Confirming that CBD is now well entrenched in the mainstream health and wellbeing conversation, Mee Organic CBD has opened its first store at Westfield London.

To date, Mee has been selling its water-soluble supplement range of powders and drops online, but says this retail space will provide an experiential and educational environment for sampling and exploring the benefits of CBD with expert Mee team members.

Aiming to provide a calm space that is ‘sustainable, accessible and beautiful’, the store will be used to host events and education sessions around cannabinoids for both ‘CBD-curious and CBD-converts’.


As part of its commitment to finding ways for ‘CBD’s future to be fully sustainable for people and planet’, the brand’s powder can be refilled in store in a zero-waste container – the first ‘CBD refillery’ of its kind, it claims.

“It is vital to demystify CBD and be able to have an honest conversation around its benefits,” says brand CMO Eleanor Coates. “Opening the doors in Westfield London and being able to share stories of our customer’s life-changing experiences in a face-to-face environment is a game-changer for us in the CBD and cannabis industry. There is so much false information and hyperbole surrounding CBD that to have a direct, honest conversation with your consumers is vital.”


Commercial director Andy Logan adds: “This was never just a shopfront for us, this was an important step in our mission at Mee to democratise CBD – as a young brand to be on the floor at London’s most popular shopping destination, amongst all these established names, is a clear statement of this intent; it’s a privilege to be here. ”

Jacinta Rowsell, general manager at Westfield London welcomes the new arrival. “Over half of UK consumers are interested in health services or experiences offered in-store so introducing the first lifestyle CBD brand seemed like a great fit for our audience. At Westfield London we are always looking for ways to bring new health and wellness offerings and services into centre for visitors to enjoy and Mee CBD is no exception.”

The brand plans to roll out more stores towards the end of 2021 and into 2022.
