Australian natural cosmetics specialist INIKA Organic continues to bolster its international presence as it prepares to launch into India later this year.
The brand’s parent company, Melbourne-based Total Beauty Network, is in discussion with local distributors ahead of the rollout to ensure the range has regional relevance.
INIKA underwent significant global expansion last year with the brand introduced to new markets across Asia and Europe. INIKA is now available in 33 countries worldwide.
“I am so proud to be part of a global movement that champions beauty that is luxurious and natural, certified organic, as well as cruelty-free and vegan,” said INIKA Organic’s Global Brand Manager, Celia Trevisani at the brand’s recent conference. “We are well on our way to detox the world, one makeup kit at a time.”
As consumer demand for ‘clean’ beauty products continues to increase, TBN has enjoyed significant sales growth across its four brands. Combined, DB Cosmetics, Raww, Colour by TBN and INIKA Organic achieved 23 per cent sales growth in 2018, compared to the global cosmetics market averaging 5.9 per cent in the same year.
INIKA Organic is the biggest seller among TBN’s brands, seeing strong sales growth both locally and abroad. From 2017-18, sales were up 52 per cent globally.
Founded in 2006, INIKA Organic is recognised for several certifications, including Choose Cruelty Free and Certified Organic. The brand is also halal and 100 per cent vegan.
