What are your expectations for the future of the organic sector?
I hope that more hectares will be produced and cultivated in organic crops so that people can consume products without pesticides. That the efforts of all producers be valued to bring a healthy product to the consumer’s table. we have to take care of the resources we have like water, be responsible.
Tell us more specifically what you do, and what makes it so special
Our company is dedicated to the marketing of nuts and their derivatives, especially almonds, pistachios, figs, hazelnuts, etc…
Throughout these years we have specialized in toasted products totally different from what was seen in the organic market until now. We have created a Joint-Venture with nut producers and shellers to work in total transparency.
We export 95% of what we sell. we are IFS and BRC.
What do you think consumers are looking for when they buy organic products?
Consumers are looking for healthy products with the seal of quality, traceability that accompanies organic products.
That they be guaranteed that no chemicals or pesticides have been used in their cultivation.
