Global ingredient supplier, Cambridge Commodities, has appointed Simon Mortimer as new sales director.
Mortimer (pictured above) has extensive experience in the industry and has been working at an Ingredients business for the bakery sector for the last eight years, having previously held roles at Kraft, Sara Lee and Diageo.
He said: “Cambridge Commodities is a successful, energetic and ambitious business in an industry sector that continues to offer great potential. My aim is to work with the team to help build on their success achieved to date and take it to the next level.”
Cambridge Commodities has been experiencing year on year growth globally, selling to the sports nutrition, health and wellbeing, food and beverage, pet and equine and cosmeceutical industries.

Mortimer will be responsible for all sales activities in the UK, EMEA and the US as well as working with the team to evaluate and develop new markets and business growth opportunities.
