The Body Shop, acquired from L’Oreal last summer by leading ethical Brazilian beauty brand Natura, has announced four appointments to its leadership team.
Domenico Trizio has been appointed as the new chief operations officer while Lionel Thoreau joins in the new position of global brand director. Both have joined The Body Shop from L’Occitane Group where they held the roles of group managing director and global growth officer respectively. Elen Macaskill, previously chief marketing officer at The Body Shop has been appointed in the newly-created role of global customer director, whileAmy Liddy joins as global Finance director from Alvarez and Marsal, where she was a managing director of the firm’s private equity division.
All four appointments report directly to The Body Shop chief executive David Boynton, who joined the company in December 2017, following the sale of the global beauty brand by L’Oreal to Natura. The newly created corporate group, Natura &Co, comprises three purpose-driven beauty brands: Natura, The Body Shop and Aesop.
