Vegan Meat Brand Returns To Major UK Retailer Following ‘Popular Demand’

Vegan meat brand The Fry Family Food Co. is returning to a major UK retailer following ‘popular demand’.

The company ended its partnership with online supermarket Ocado at the end of 2019. But, its products have returned to the retailer in time for Veganuary.

Fry’s vegan meat range

Fry’s vegan range includes items such as sausages, sausage rolls, burgers, nuggets, and schnitzels. It is also debuting its pea protein mince exclusively at Ocado.

The new plant-based mince is ‘packed with protein’ and free from soya. It will retail for £3.50, with an introductory price of £2.80.

Tammy Fry is the international marketing director at The Fry Family Food Co. In a statement sent to PBN, she said: “We’re so thrilled Ocado has made the decision to re-stock Fry’s again, making the range even more easily accessible to people across the UK.

“January is typically a time of the year for cutting things out. But, we want to prove that plant-based eating doesn’t have to be about deprivation. You can still enjoy all of the delicious, mouth-watering dishes you always have… But swapping meat for plant-based alternatives that taste just as good, but are better for you and the environment.

“It’s a fantastic time to be a plant-based brand… We’re looking forward to starting back at Ocado with a bang just in time for Veganuary.”
